 "I had been working out since I was 16 years old and always in good shape. Then at age 41 I started gaining weight (mostly due to being lazy and partially due to a medication), yet regardless of how it happened I was 30 pounds overweight within 6 months.

   I have had many personal trainers in the past but this time I decided I wanted to change my life not just to learn the proper way to lift weights.. I interviewed over 25 valley trainers and then I came across Andrew, in Scottsdale. I knew right away something was very different. And after my first week of training, I was right. He is the best at what he does, bar none.  After our very first meeting I knew he was the one person who would help me transform my body and reclaim my life.
He has been professional, inspirational, fun, kind, serious, knowledgeable, and most of all very caring. He had the confidence in me that I didn't even have in myself, yet.
  After training with Andrew for 5 weeks, I wasn't ready to quit. I decided that in order to reach one of my goals (getting into that bikini by summer and being proud to wear it again) that Andrew was the only person who could help me get there. Now everyone notices the weight loss and changes in my body. What a great feeling.
   Training with Andrew 4 days a week and doing my "cardio homework" in addition to that has been challenging at times but the mental and physical rewards are more than I can put into words.
   He has given me the tools I need in all aspects of my life to maintain a healthy body and healthy life. I plan on being a long term client, something I've never done with any other personal trainer before. But I believe once you find the best, you stick with them!

"I began training with Andrew in October of 2008.  I had worked with a personal trainer before, but when I started working with Andrew, my whole body and attitude changed significantly.  Please know that I am not what you call a “spring chicken.”  I am pushing the 60-year mark.

 

Andrew works with me three times a week.  Each session is power packed, concentrating on all areas of my body.  I never knew I had muscles in many of the places Andrew worked!   He makes you work very hard at each session, however he is never slow to offer encouragement and keep you on track.  You must give 110% with Andrew because he won’t let you think of giving anything else!  Because of my training with Andrew, my friends and family have commented numerous times on the changes they have seen in my body.

If you are seriously considering a Professional Fitness Trainer I strongly suggest you meet with Andrew Fodge and receive a free evaluation and recommendations to help you meet your goals.  That is exactly what I did and as a result I signed on for a series of workouts to meet my specific requirements.   I had played golf for 50 years and as a result of some medical challenges including surgery, my golf game had declined significantly.  As an example, my swing speed had dropped to 92 mph, down from the 99 mph I had been able to maintain for years.  Upon completion of my personal training program with Andrew I was able to produce swing speeds as high as 101 mph!  I had not been at this level in 20 years!  That was an excellent result!  Moreover, I think the "side effects" of the stretching, balance training and weight training along with the flexibility exercises were even more impressive to me.  My range of motion increased dramatically, the daily aches and pains vanished.  I felt so good I eventually doubled the number of training sessions I originally signed on for and intend to return for regular "tune ups".    If friendly, fun, and effective sounds like the type of Personal Trainer you would like to work with, then I think "Fitness by Andrew" is the answer.  I am Dennis Marker and would be happy to discuss my results with you further.  My email is birdie64@msn.com and my cell phone is 309-644-1945
