2013 Waste Management Phoenix Open Marks the 78th Phoenix Open

The 2013 Waste Management Phoenix Open is set to kick off on January 28 – February 3.  The Phoenix Open is held on the Stadium Course at the TPC of Scottsdale.  Regarded as one of the most popular PGA events, 2013 marks the 78th Phoenix Open.  The tournament was previously held at Phoenix Country Club and Arizona Country Club before moving to it’s current location at the TPC of Scottsdale in 1987.  The Phoenix Open draws some of the biggest and rowdiest crowds and is referred to as the greatest show on grass.  The tournament averages around 500,000 spectators over
